2005

The miscreant beast Romboló was born in the thunderous summer of the year 2005 as a solo project of the Ugrian Shadowcommander Ördögvér, to reach previously hidden and unpassed peaks. The art of Romboló should include various darkest elements, from coldest metallic music to eternal folk elements and atmospheric sounds. Truly, these various, sometimes undescribable progressive elements evolved to a unique lugubrious realm of sound, the realm of Romboló.

Ördögvér finished the compositions for the debut album "Köd" in the same year, he found Romboló.

2006

In spring 2006, Abaddon and Blitzgreek joined the sinister realm to support Ördögvér's awakened visions.

By Autumn 2006, the first full-lenght Romboló record "Köd" was almost finished, but because of an accident, all data was lost and Ördögvér had to start with the recordigs of "Köd" again. Because the Webhell-data was lost too, Romboló attacked in October with a new design of the site, unleashed by the Shadowcommander himself.

2007

Until February 2007, Ördögvér completed the production of "Köd" and signed Black Edge Records, the record label of Romboló session bass player Abaddon. Tragically, before the release of "Köd", Black Edge Records dissolved in May 2007 and Romboló had to search for a new label to release the debut album. Also, the work of Blitzgreek for Romboló behind drums should be finished for this time.

One month later, after discussing with several labels, Ördögvér decided to release "Köd" through Division Nordwolf, a mystic label mainly aimed to Black Metal, from Vienna, Austria.

In October 2007, Ördögvér moved to an other realm, so he could not longer collaborate with Abaddon as session musician. The former idea of working together in spite of the great distance was dropped.

2008

The year of destruction followed, finally in January, "Köd" came out, after a hard and bloody journey, the first battle was won. After all, victory is no reason for rest...

As the ideas for the second opus to be unleashed grew, Ördögvér recruited Sargon the same month, who should battle drums on this second full lenght razor, entitled simply "Romboló", the great destroyer.

In summer, Ördögvér was joined by combatants Blitzgreek and Abaddon again to battle together on the videoclip for the song "Bustum Pontefici".
